| Description | The unit established in 1965 by the Committee of Vice- Chancellors & Principals to investigate organisation and method studies of university administrative procedures.
The unit was commissioned by the member universities to undertake reviews. Based at the University of Edinburgh . In 1987 the Unit was renamed the Scottish Universities Management Services & Efficiency Unit.. The unit was closed in 1989.
St.Andrews, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Strathclyde, Heriot-Watt, Dundee and Stirling were members. |
