| AdminHistory | Born in the Tower of London and a clerk in the Ordnance Department there, Charles Frederick Angell was a fourth generation Clothworker and Master in 1858-59. He compiled these research notes and papers in order to write a history of the Company, but died before it could be produced. The papers were donated to the Company's archives by Angell's daughters in 1876.
