| Description | There are very few separate records relating to The Clothworkers' Company's role within the London textile trade. Other than the two volumes listed, the main source for records of searches are the Court Orders (CL/B/1), which record the names of searchers and details of those fined for defective workmanship. Other than the information contained within the Apprenticeship and Freedom records, the archive contains no record of members' trading interests, no merchants' marks, no records of cloth stamps nor records relating to trading tokens. |
