| Brief Description | Shawl with very small black centre. Centre of end border has panel of large leaf shapes with a pair of large sinuous pines on either side. Narrow all round border of small pines on red diamonds and stylised flowers on black diamonds. Initials RG in corner tail piece, there was a French manufacturing company, Robert et Gosselin, operating in the 1860s. |
