Description	[The Board of Management, which was in charge of the executive management of the affairs of the Commission, met from November 1872 until May 1876. After that date it was found that the functions of the Special Enquiry Committee (see 8B) embraced practically the whole of the business of the Royal Commission and the Board discontinued its meetings. It was revived and reconstituted when the Special Enquiry Committee resigned its function in 1881].
