The Marlborough College Natural History Society was founded in 1864 under the patronage of its headmaster George Granville Bradley who would later become the Dean of Westminster (1881–1902).
DescriptionVolume 1 of 2 volumes entitled ‘Duration of Flowering’ within the series ‘Botanical Observations taken at Marlborough during the 21 years 1865 to 1885’ by Marlborough College Natural History Society. The volumes contain graphs recording the findings from 1865 to 1885 for over 600 varieties of plants including Viola canina, Stachys Betonica and Linaria spuria.
