AdminHistoryRobert Harrison (1715-1802) was a mathematician and linguist, born in 1715. He was appointed Master of Trinity House School in Newcastle in 1757. He lectured in Newcastle on elementary physics, mechanics and dynamics. He was a correspondent of Stephen Robson, with whom he helped in the preparation of his 'British Flora' (1777). He retired to Durham where he died in 1802.
