| Description | Letter from Robert Whight, in Blair Atholl, to Francis Boott, requesting permission to examine specimens of 'Asclepiadeae' in the "Indian Herbarium" and offering to name all specimens in return for any duplicates for his own collection. The letter was read at a meeting of the Linnean Society.
With a list of specimens (156 numbered items) with locality notes or provenance note of specimen which is watermarked 1831. Very similar, but with different maker's initials, to the 1831 paper used for Wight's letter. |
